Banks and artists.

So I ended up splurging and buying the bag for myself. Lulu was a darling and paid for a small part of it, and since then I've been reading more reviews about their bags, and quite frankly, I'm quite excited about getting it. I really can't wait. I hardly ever splurge on myself, or have someone splurge on me, so much so that this will probably be the best way to start off the new semester.

Valentine's coming up, and my hot date for the day will be a Boeing 777, sleek and sexy, primed to take me off into the skies. And towards classes, but that sorta spoils the whole romantic bit. The good bit is that I have a 9 or 10 hour stopover in Singapore, so that'll be one last vacation of sorts for me,

Josko pulled his contract, so I'm quite peeved about that. He was nice about it, but still. That's like six weeks of work amounting to nothing. Well, not really. I repurposed the entire design and Serge liked it. Artists are such odd people to work for. They're so subjective. It can be frustrating!

I had an odd problem at the bank today, I had to sign to open the account for my company, and the bank did not like my signature. So I had to come up with a new siganture on the spot, which sorta took me half an hour. But it's all good now!

<3

Timbuk2

I want one of their messenger bags. I found a lovely silver/red/silver on Amazon for only $50, but they only ship within America, which made me very sad. Someday I'll own it.

My brother left for Perth today, I'll be seeing him when I fly back this coming Saturday. A lot of people also stared at me toady. I don't know why. My sister tells me it's because I'm loud and awkward, which gets attention. And I scold elevator doors. That might have something to do with it. But yes, apparently Australia has roughened my edges a little. Probably a good thing.

I've been spending a lot of money lately, but that's okay because I've decided not to upgrade my computer just yet, so I have all that money I allocated for it. Which my younger sister is clawing to get at.

In other news, I'm planning to try cooking Konnyaku tomorrow. Which will be an adventure since it's a strange ingredient to me.

I love stingrays.

I have a LJ account. Huzzah!

Sadly, my life isn't the most interesting one out there, which was why all my other blogs and such died. But this will be different! It will be! It has to be!
Of course, despite my pumpiness, I'm also falling asleep here. And I just realised that Chrome's spellcheck doesn't work on this. Ooh. There's so much more to explore on this. The funny thing is, most of my excitement about blogs come from setting it up and customising things and making things work the way I wish it to.

And then there's the bit where I scour the network for other peoples' LJs so I don't feel so alone here. And so I can stalk their daily lives.

Ahh. LJ is autosaving! I'm falling in love rapidly.

It's like my first kiss all over again.

*swoons*
